Volunteers are making a difference in the lives of the people we serve.
Our hungry guests receive not only a hot meal, but they often tell us that the friendly greetings and warm smiles of volunteers have brightened their day. The problems of hunger and homelessness are very difficult, but the kindness shown by our dedicated volunteers goes a long way to make things easier.

Our volunteers are a diverse group with a common desire to serve others. Many of our volunteers come regularly. They enjoy fulfillment gained by serving those in need. You only need to bring yourself and your willingness to work. No special skills are needed. We provide aprons, gloves and any equipment you might need. The pace is fast. Wear closed toe shoes and bring a kind heart. Volunteers must be 16 years old.

As a volunteer, there are a variety of opportunities, serving guests, hosting tables, greeting guests, pouring drinks, preparing silverware and cleaning tables. Our goal is to have one server and one host companion per table. A volunteer coordinator will be responsible for delegating assignments to the volunteers. We ask our servers and table companions to be loving, encouraging, and supportive to each guest, while not being overly inquisitive or questioning them as to how they have arrived at their current stage in life.

We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.
